Napoleon is the one who stopped a bunch of newborn kittens from drowning in a Michigan lake deemed dangerous. Though he is a lousy swimmer, like most English Bulldogs, he jumped into the water and ended up hauling a burlap sack back across the street. The owners found out later on that their brave doggo had saved six small kittens. They brought the kittens home, and he even helped four of them recover back-to- health. The sad news is that two kittens have died. Families searching for a new home for the healthy kittens accepted them following their arrival at the local shelter.
