We aren't sure what kind of caterpillar this is, but it is very squishy looking. It almost looks like some ladybugs caught a ride on its back, but those are attached to it to ward off predators.

After these caterpillars go through metamorphosis, they turn into eye-catching moths. They have a seven-inch wingspan, which makes sense due to their size as caterpillars. It actually resembles the caterpillar from A Bugs Life .
